Chainstitch Hems

Since our early days, BlackBlue has offered complimentary chainstitch hems on all jeans purchased in store. Hems are done using our vintage Union Special. We're happy to hem jeans purchased elsewhere, at a cost of $25 + tax per pair of jeans.

We typically turnaround hems within one week, but may find that increased levels of demand lead to longer turnarounds, seldom surpassing three weeks.

Our hemming service will experience an interruption from late January through February, and is expected to resume normal operations by March of 2025. In-store jean purchases may be left at the shop for a hem, or customers may return to the shop at a later date to drop off jeans for a hem.

Stop in during store hours to have jeans hemmed. We prefer to have customers try their jeans on to have them marked for a hem to ensure we're achieving the desired length.

Jeans that are hemmed are final sale and not eligible for exchange or return.
