Dead Stock Blue 1001XX (1000XX) 1947 Model Denim

Sale price$ 275.00
Size:

Warehouse’s “Dead Stock Blue” series aims to reproduce the fabrics and workmanship of old, so much so that the fabrics and quality of each article leaves one with the impression that they have stumbled upon a truly “deadstock” garment, even aiming to achieve a hue of indigo that reflects that of a true deadstock item. This particular 1001XX (1000XX) style is constructed using era accurate fabrics, hardware, and construction details, and the fit, introduced in 1947, is often considered to be the first denim silhouette to take jeans from a workwear item to a true fashion item. This fit features a high rise, generous seat, and a full leg with a subtle taper

This jean is an unsanforized style that has been washed once—expect little to no shrinkage in the waist if washed cold and hang dried—but some inseam shrinkage may be expected. Our experience shows that this jean will stretch in the waist up to .75" with wear.
